Typical Unit Construction:
Unit construction can consist solely of an insulated vessel with a flange heater or include additional options such as a mounting frame and prewired control panel or remotely mounted control panel. The typical flange heater consists of metal sheathed heating elements assembled into an ANSI flange with a Type 1, 4, 4X, or 7 terminal housing protecting the element terminals and wiring. Various options for flange rating, flange size, flange material, element material & diameter, and housing materials exist. Consult PENNHEAT for details. The heating vessel is generally wrapped in high temperature insulation and protected by a sheet metal outer jacket. The inlet and outlet of the vessel can be either NPT threaded pipe connections or flanged connections. Various orientations are available.
